How to Put Double Stroke on a Text

This is just a very simple tutorial that i have made... hope you would like it..

In this tutorial we will demonstrate how to put two or more strokes on a text.. We can even use this to put a double stroke on an image.. A single stroke could look good but adding another one would make our text much more appealing and alive. Just follow this simple steps below:

This is what our final layout would look ...

1. Open your Photoshop.. (Any Photoshop version will do with these tutorial) then go to File>New to create a new work space.

2. Enter the width and height and other details.. you can copy mine.. or you can play with it
3. Select the Text tool on the toolbox or you can press the letter T on your keyboard.. then type any word you want..you can choose any font style you want.

4. After that select the move tool..or press V on your keyboard then go and select the layer of your text...

5. We will now change the color of the font(there are other ways to change the font color) but i prefer to use this one solely because i was used to it). Click on the efx button as shown and select color overlay or you can go to Layer > Layer Style > Color Overlay

6. Choose the color you want for your text..by clicking the color

7. For the first stroke go and click the fx button again or go to Layer > Layer Style > Stroke..(be sure that you have selected your text layer just like when we used the color overlay style..

8. Choose the color of the stroke you want just like we did with color overlay...you can also adjust the size of the strike by adjusting the slider.

9. This is where the second stroke will come in.. Select your Text Layer then right click on it then choose Convert to Smart Object

Your Layer would look like these after you convert it to Smart Object (notice that the color overlay and stroke effects are already gone on your layer but on you image its still there).

10. Right Click again on the your text layer that you converted to Smart Objet.. Click on the fx button again and choose Stroke or go to Layer > Layer Style > Stroke... apply the color you want and the size just like what we did when we put the first stroke.

and this will be our final product
* Repeat Steps 9-10 to add more strokes.. and you could end up like this.

You can also use these steps on images or pictures like this.
